You can set up your list when it suits you and begin to add gifts immediately. In fact, if you’re running late with your gift list, Wedding List Co is the perfect solution.
MAKING THE MOST OF YOUR CONSULTATION

Most couples choose to visit one of our showrooms for a consultation with one of our gift experts. Peruse through more gorgeous goodies than you can poke a credit card at over a glass of bubbly. Evening and Saturday consultations are no problem.

Of course, not everyone can get to a showroom (in fact, many of our couples are based in other states or overseas) - so take advantage of our Account Managers at the end of the phone to give you help and advice. |

INVITATION CARDS

We recommend that you send our complimentary discreet inserts with your wedding invitations. These elegant cards feature our website address and telephone number and guarantee that your guests know where your wedding list is and make life so much easier for them. They will appreciate not having to ring around to find out where your list is or make pot-luck guesses at what you want.

Over the years we’ve found that couples who do not use their Invitation Inserts do not receive as many gifts from their list as they’d hoped for. Moreover, they often wind up with the same problems faced by couples who didn’t have a wedding list in the first place: “Oh no! Not another platter!” is the common refrain.
BUYING A GIFT

Most guests prefer to buy a tangible gift - something they know you will still be using in years to come, which they can do easily with the pictures on our secure site.

We happily take orders over the phone for guests who may not have internet access. Guests can also request a colour copy of the list or we can talk them through it over the phone.

Guests outside Australia will find our service useful too - there is a currency converter next to the price in Australian dollars, and we accept international credit cards.

Guests pay a one off service and delivery fee ranging from $6.95 to $11.95 depending on your delivery location. This compares to DJs at $15 and Myer at $12.95.
KEEPING IT PERSONAL

Guests can read a message from you when they visit your list - your chance to thank them in advance for their purchase, draw their attention to specific items or display your hidden literary talents!

Each guest receives a complimentary card where they add a personal message (or display their literary talents!) which is attached to their gift for you. |
STEP 3 - MANAGING YOUR LIST
You might have to compromise on your seating plan but with your gift list, you’re in control…

CAN’T MAKE UP YOUR MIND?

Don’t worry if you can’t decide on your dream china right away, you can make changes online, anytime up until the gift is purchased.
- Use your online list manager to add more gifts if everything under $50 is gone...or over $200. Couples tell us how easy this is compared to going back into a department store to add gifts.

You’ll also be able to see what has been bought for you and by whom in your ‘Thank You Card List’. You will even see their message and address so you can make an immediate start on your thank you cards.
AFTER THE WEDDING

Wedding List Co offers you the convenience of making changes to your final list before we custom order the gifts. This means that unlike the department stores you can swap gifts around to complete sets or exchange a double up gift that is bought elsewhere without having to drive all your gifts back to the store.

As soon as you are ready (you can even do it at the airport before you leave for your honeymoon), simply login to your list, make any changes needed to complete sets or use gift vouchers, and we will get your orders underway.
READY, STEADY, TIME TO GET THOSE GOODIES!

With all your changes made, it’s time to order your gifts.

At this point, if you choose to buy any of the remaining items on your list, you will receive a 10% discount*. Great for completing a dinner set or the missing pillowcase you weren’t purchased.

Because you have the flexibility to change your list any time until it is closed, we will only order your gifts once you close your list.

If you choose anything which is special order (such as Legle de Limoge which comes directly from France) they may take a little longer to arrive. These gifts will be denoted with 'Special Order Longer Delivery' on your list so you are aware beforehand. If it’s any consolation, the waiting periods are the same for all wedding list services and retailers that place orders specifically for clients.

STEP 4 - RECEIVING YOUR GIFTS
And you thought Christmas only came once a year…

YOUR DELIVERY IS HERE…

Your Account Manager will be in touch at around six weeks to schedule a delivery time on a Saturday with a 2-3 hour window. Large gifts such as BBQs or furniture will be delivered direct from the brand, Monday to Friday.

For couples living outside of Sydney, Melbourne and Perth, gifts will arrive beautifully packaged via Australia Post.

Be wary of registries that say they will deliver them sooner. They may get a handful of gifts to you quicker, but you will be waiting a lot longer for the rest to arrive. We prefer to deliver ALL of your gifts in one go at 6-8 weeks to save you having to wait home two or three times. This is the perfect amount of time to make room for all the new gorgeous goodies to arrive and for you to get back from your honeymoon. What's more - this is usually less time than it takes for your photos to be ready.

We give you the option of having your gifts wrapped or delivered in our famous WLC bags. Lots of couples told us that because they chose the gifts themselves, unwrapping the gifts was not a surprise so they felt environmentally unfriendly wasting all the paper. In answer to this, we developed fabulous big bags which you get to keep and use for packing, storage, moving, travelling...the uses are limitless!

If you are based abroad, we can package your gifts for overseas shipping and recommend suitable freight forwarding companies.
